PROFILE SUMMARY

With my current and ongoing work, my hope is to develop a deeper insight into how to incorporate the behavioral aspects of medical care into resource allocation and decision making so that the best care can be provided to the most people. My research focuses on empirically quantifying how behavioral responses impact hospital operational performance, such as patient throughput and quality of care, with an emphasis on the impact of these effects across hospital units.

Current projects are looking at the impact of interventions in hospitals to improve efficiency, as well as potential modifications to existing processes to improve the effective capacity and quality of care of hospitals.
