DOCTORAL THESIS STATEMENT

Cansu Sogut is a fifth-year doctoral student in Marketing at Boston University. Cansu’s primary areas of interest are sharing and experiential consumption, social media, and word-of-mouth communication. Across several projects, she investigates the interplay of online social interactions, word-of-mouth content, and the enjoyment of consumption experiences.



Cansu graduated summa cum laude from Koc University with a B.A. in Business Administration. After graduating, she received her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Innovation, Strategy, and Organization from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
