NORMAN W. BLANCHARD LECTURER, DIRECTOR, COURSE PLANNING
COURSE PLANNING AND CLASSROOM UTILIZATION, COURSE PLANNING AND CLASSROOM UTILIZATION
Norm Blanchard has served as Director of Course Planning since the beginning of 2016. Prior to that, he worked as Director in the Questrom Undergraduate Program Office since 1998. While Norm's current role allows him the enjoyment and satisfaction of collaborating with the staff and faculty in both the Graduate and Undergraduate Programs on course planning and curricular matters, he also spends some of his time continuing his first love: advising undergraduates (with a specific focus on non-Questrom students seeking entry to BU's Dual Degree Program).
Norm is something of a lifelong Terrier, with two degrees from Questrom (BSBA '88, MBA '94). In fact, he was born next to Noodle Street on Comm. Ave. back in the day (don't worry, there was a hospital there back then!). He and his lovely wife were married at Marsh Chapel. He has been a season ticket holder for BU men's hockey since 1991.
In his spare time, Norm enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing hockey, watching the Sox, and reading about British history.
